What it’s for
Piston to push rod clearance can vary between master cylinders, including ours. This tool lets you check it and adjust the booster push rod to suit, so your pedal feels right from the first press.

Choose the version that matches where your booster’s adjustable push rod sits.
- External: the adjustable rod extends outside the booster assembly, so it’s visible and easy to reach.
- Internal: the adjustable rod is housed within the booster assembly and isn’t exposed.

Fitting
Use the end marked Brake Master Cylinder on the master, then the end marked Brake Booster on the booster, and adjust the push rod to suit. We recommend installation by a licensed mechanic.
