Why choose the BM50
The BM50 keeps the pedal feel you know. Its 1″ (25.4mm) bore gives standard travel and balanced pressure, so the car stops the way a well-sorted street car should. It’s a straight swap for a tired factory master cylinder, with a Black Geomet® finish that resists corrosion and looks clean in the engine bay.
BM50 or BM57?
Both suit street and track use.
- BM50, 1″ (25.4mm): OEM feel. Standard travel, balanced pressure. Best for a familiar street car feel.
- BM57, 17/16″ (27mm): brake by pressure. Shorter travel, firmer pedal. Best for a positive brake feel. See the BM57.
Will it fit my car?
The BM50 suits right-hand drive Nissan Skyline R32 GTR, R32 GTS-T, R33 GTR, R33 GTS-T, R34 GT, R34 GTT, Silvia S13, S14, S15, 180SX, 300ZX Z32, with or without ABS. It bolts to the factory booster and uses your existing lines.
- ABS cars: block either the middle port or the rear port closest to the booster with the supplied tapered grub screw. The ports are the same, split in two.
- Line routing: the ports are on the side. Lines that feed from the top or bottom can usually be bent around to reach them.
- Fluid level sensor: the connector is rectangular and swaps to either side. A round connector needs re-terminating with spade terminals.

Fitting
Bench bleed the master cylinder before fitting, then check push rod clearance to the booster. Our push rod adjusting tool makes that job easier. Once fitted, bleed the system and check the lines, grub screw and reservoir grommets for leaks before driving.
